First, understand the lotion pump
Also known as a push-type lotion pump, it is a liquid dispenser that uses the principle of atmospheric balance to pump out the liquid in the bottle by pressing, and replenish the outside atmosphere into the bottle. The main performance indicators of the lotion pump: the number of air pressures, the pump output, the down pressure, the opening torque of the pressing head, the rebound speed, the water intake index, etc.
The dispenser is divided into two types: tie type and screw type. In terms of function, it is divided into spray, foundation cream, lotion pump, aerosol valve, and vacuum bottle.
The size of the pump head is determined by the caliber of the matching bottle body. The spray size is 12.5mm-24mm, and the water output is 0.1ml/time-0.2ml/time. It is generally used in the packaging of perfume, gel water and other products. The length of the bottle can be determined according to the height of the bottle.
The specifications of the lotion pump head range from 16ml to 38ml, and the water output is 0.28ml/time to 3.1ml/time. It is generally used for creams and washing products.
Special dispensers such as foam pump head and hand button sprinkler head, foam pump head is a kind of non-air-filled hand pressure pump head, which does not need to be filled with air to generate foam, and can produce quantitative high-quality foam only by pressing lightly. Usually comes with a dedicated bottle. Hand-on applicators are often used on products such as cleaners.
The composition of the distributor is relatively complex, generally including: dust cover, pressing head, pressing rod, gasket, piston, spring, valve, bottle cap, pump body, straw, valve ball (steel ball, glass ball). Bottle caps and dust caps can be colored, electroplated, or covered with anodized aluminum rings.
The vacuum bottle is usually cylindrical, with a specification of 15ml-50ml, and some have 100ml. The overall capacity is small. It relies on the principle of atmospheric pressure to avoid pollution caused by cosmetics during use. The vacuum bottle has anodized aluminum, plastic electroplating and colored plastics. The price is more expensive than other general containers, and the general order quantity requirements are not high. Dispenser customers rarely open their own molds, and they pay more for molds and the cost is higher.
Second, the working principle of the pump head:
Manually press down the dynamic pressure handle, the volume in the spring cavity decreases, the pressure increases, the liquid enters the nozzle cavity through the hole of the valve core, and then the liquid is sprayed out through the nozzle, then release the pressure handle, and the pressure in the spring cavity The volume increases to form negative pressure, the ball opens under the action of negative pressure, and the liquid in the bottle enters the spring cavity. At this time, there is a certain amount of liquid in the valve body. When the handle is pressed again, the liquid stored in the valve body will be Punch up and spray out through the nozzle;
From the above working principle, the key to a good pump head is to pay special attention to the following points:
1. The glass beads or steel balls under the spring, the sealing here is very important, which is related to the upward force of the liquid in the spring cavity. If there is leakage here, when the pressing handle is pressed, part of the liquid will leak into the bottle. And affect the effect of the liquid to spray;
2. It is the sealing ring at the upper end of the valve body. If there is leakage here, when the pressure handle is released, the upward force of the liquid to be pumped will decrease, resulting in a small amount of liquid stored in the valve body, which will also affect the spray effect;
3. The cooperation between the pressure handle and the valve core. If the cooperation is loose and there is leakage, there will be a certain resistance when the liquid rushes up to the nozzle, and the liquid will flow back. If it leaks here, it will also affect the spray effect. ;
