Screw lotion pump
Working principle: The screw pump is a positive displacement pump that pushes the medium forward by rotating one or more pairs of intermeshing screws at a constant speed in the pump housing. The rotation of the screw forms a continuous sealed chamber in the pump body. After the medium enters the sealed chamber from the suction end, it is pushed to the discharge end by the rotation of the screw, and finally transported.
Performance characteristics include the following points:
Stable flow: The screw pump can provide a stable and continuous flow, which is suitable for occasions where precise flow control is required.
Small pressure pulsation: Since the sealed chamber of the screw pump is gradually pushed forward, its pressure pulsation is small, which is conducive to protecting the active ingredients in the emulsion.
Strong self-priming ability: The screw pump has a strong self-priming ability and can automatically suck and transport the emulsion within a certain range.
Wide range of application: The screw pump can handle a variety of media from low to medium and high viscosity, including emulsions containing solid particles, showing good adaptability.
Scope of application: The screw pump is particularly suitable for conveying medium and high viscosity emulsions, such as some essences, creams, lotion-like cosmetics, etc. At the same time, it can also handle emulsions containing a certain amount of solid particles, such as some scrubs containing tiny particles.
Gear lotion pump
Working principle: The gear pump rotates in the pump body through two meshing gears, sucking the medium from the suction end and conveying it to the discharge end under the push of the gears. The meshing of the gears forms a series of closed chambers, in which the medium is continuously pushed forward as the gears rotate.
The performance characteristics are as follows:
Simple structure: The structure of the gear pump is relatively simple, the manufacturing cost is low, and it is easy to maintain and maintain.
Strong conveying capacity: The gear pump can handle medium and high viscosity media and has a certain conveying capacity.
Poor self-priming: Compared with the screw pump, the self-priming ability of the gear pump is weaker, and it is usually necessary to set a suction device in front of the pump.
Large flow pulsation: Due to the meshing and separation of the gears, a certain flow pulsation will be generated, which may need to be paid attention to when handling emulsions with high requirements for flow stability.
Scope of application: Gear pumps are suitable for conveying medium-to-high viscosity emulsions without solid particles, such as some thicker creams, lotion-like skin care products, etc. However, it should be noted that the flow rate pulsation is large, and appropriate adjustments or optimizations may be required in certain applications.
